Police looking for suspect in shooting over a dice game

BENTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. — An argument during a dice game led to a man with a gunshot would to the stomach and a suspect on the loose in the Benton Harbor area.

The dice game was underway in a drive in the 1300 block of Agard Avenue in Benton Township.

During the argument, a man pulled a gun from the waist of his pants and fired twice, one shot hitting the ground, the second hitting the victim in the stomach. The shooter then took off, firing again.

Benton Township Police were called and the victim was taken to Spectrum Health Lakeland, the department reports in a release.
