POLKTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Police say a motorcyclist struck a deer Wednesday morning.
It happened around 8:30 a.m. on Cleveland Street near 80th Avenue in Polkton Township.
Authorities say a a deer jumped out in front of the 48-year-old woman riding along Cleveland Street. She struck the deer and was thrown from the motorcycle.
The driver was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
