OLIVE TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A woman was taken to the hospital Monday after getting hit by a semi in an Ottawa County intersection.
It happened at 1:18 p.m. at the intersection of southbound US-31 and Port Sheldon Road in Olive Township.
A semi going south didn’t stop for a red light, causing it a T-bone collision with a car going through the intersection.
The woman inside the vehicle was taken to Holland Hospital in an ambulance and is said to be in fair condition.
Southbound US-31 was closed for about an hour but has since reopened.
