HOLLAND TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A suspect has been jailed after breaking into an occupied Holland residence on Friday, May 29.
Ottawa County deputies responded around 6:17 p.m. to a call of someone smashing a window and climbing inside the home.
The caller was hiding in the basement and stayed on the phone with officers through the whole incident.
Police arrived to find the suspect on the back porch and made the arrest without any issues.
The suspect's name is being held back until arraignment and is currently booked at the Ottawa County Jail on charges of breaking and entering of an occupied residence.
The Sheriff's Office is still investigating this case.
