GRAND HAVEN TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A man was taken to the hospital Wednesday morning after he was hit by a vehicle in Grand Haven Township.
The crash happened around 7:12 a.m. near the intersection of 160th Avenue and Robbins Road.
Investigators say the man was walking south on 160th Avenue along the edge of the road when he was hit by a southbound vehicle. The driver told deputies that he was unable to see the man walking because it was dark, and the pedestrian was wearing dark clothing.
Authorities said there is a sidewalk that runs along 160th Avenue that was cleared of snow.
The pedestrian was taken to the hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
