HOLLAND, Mich. — A Holland man riding a motorcycle was transported to the Holland Community Hospital today after sustaining injuries following a vehicle crash ahead of him.
Sunday afternoon, the Ottawa County Sheriff's Office responded to a personal injury accident between a car and a motorcycle on Ottawa Beach Rd. near Chippewa Dr. in Park Township.
Investigation shows that Holland male going westbound on Ottawa Beach Rd in a Honda Odyssey slowed for a vehicle in front of him that was turning left.
A Holland male operating a motorcycle was also heading westbound, behind the Odyssey. He could not slow in time and struck the rear of the Honda.
The operator of the motorcycle was wearing a helmet, but did sustain injuries and was transported to Holland Community Hospital.
The driver of the Odyssey was not injured.
