GEORGETOWN TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A moped driver is hospitalized after a crash with an SUV in Georgetown Township, Wednesday.
Deputies say the 24-year-old wasn't wearing a helmet when he was hit at the intersection of Baldwin Street and 12th Avenue in Ottawa County.
They say the moped driver was turning left on red while the 39-year-old SUV driver had the green light.
No one in the SUV was hurt, but police are investigating.
