OLIVE TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A Twin Lake man was killed Friday morning after a crash with a cement truck at an Ottawa County intersection.

The crash happened around 7:22 a.m. on Port Sheldon Road at 104th Avenue in Olive Township.

Authorities say Quentin Parker Jr., 30, was driving a Honda Accord north on 104th Avenue and didn’t stop at the stop sign for at Port Sheldon Road, driving into the path of a cement truck going east.

The cement truck hit the vehicle in the driver’s side door, and the two vehicles hit a third before coming to rest in the road.

Parker was killed and there weren’t any other injures.

The intersection was closed for an extended time after the crash.
