Four vehicles damaged in Tallmadge Township crash

TALLMADGE TWP., Mich. — Four vehicles in total were damaged after a one driver rear ended another in Tallmade Township Sunday afternoon.

Just after 4 p.m. today, deputies from the Ottawa County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to a mutliple-car crash on Lake Michigan Drive at 8th avenue in Tallmadge Township.

A 20-year-old man from Wyoming was driving east bound on Lake Michigan Drive when he crashed into a vehicle that was stopped at a red light on 8th avenue.

The rear-end impact from that crash caused a chain reaction crash that damaged four total vehicles.

The man that caused the crash was transported to Spectrum Butterworth via LIFE EMS with non-life threatening injuries.

The occupants of other vehicles involved were treated on scene and were not transported for further medical care.

This crash remains under investigation by the Sheriff's Office.
