SPRING LAKE, Mich. — Police responded to a crash involving two vehicles at the intersection of West Exchange Street and South Park Street this afternoon in Spring Lake, according to the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office.
We’re told an 80-year-old woman from Grand Rapids was driving south on Park Street in a Honda Civic when she stopped before the intersection at Exchange Street. Police say she then pulled into the path of a 16-year-old male from Spring Lake as he was driving east in a Jeep Wrangler.
Police tell us the driver of the Jeep had the right of way.
The occupants inside the Honda were taken to North Ottawa Community Hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries, police say, adding that the driver of the Wrangler was unharmed in the crash.
