POLKTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. — The driver of a car that pulled into the path of a pickup went to the hospital after a crash Monday.
The crash took place in the intersection of Wilson Street and 64th Avenue just before 7 a.m.
The driver, a woman age 38 from Ravenna, was southbound on 64th Avenue when she stopped at the stop sign, then pulled into the intersection.
Her car was struck by an eastbound pickup driven by a 23-year-old man from Spring Lake.
The woman was injured and taken by ambulance to the hospital, where she is expected to recover. The man was unhurt.
