PARK TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A 34-year-old woman from Holland was hospitalized after she was thrown from a boat around 2 a.m. Saturday morning.
A 37-year-old Holland resident was driving the 12' foot inflatable boat and lost control of the outboard motor.
The boat turned sharply, throwing all of its passengers into Lake Macatawa.
The motor propeller then hit the 34-year-old woman's leg as she was being tossed overboard.
All of the people who were in the boat managed to climb back into the vehicle and make it to shore.
Aero Med has flown the 34-year-old to the hospital with a serious leg injury.
