GEORGETOWN TOWNSHIP, Michigan. — A resident of Cambridge Manor was hurt when a car went through the wall of her room.
The driver of a Ford Edge, a 23 year-old from Grand Rapids, told police he was backing out of a space in the parking lot when the vehicle started to have a mechanical issue, causing it to back up in a circle and hit the building.
The 93 year-old woman knocked over by the crash and hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the Ford Edge got minor cuts but did not need treatment.
