ROBINSON TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Police responded to a rollover crash in Robinson Township this afternoon.

The 1-car crash occurred west of 136th Avenue on Lincoln Street, according to the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office.

They say the PT Cruiser, which was operated by a 36-year-old male, passed two westbound vehicles and drove back onto the lane before driving off the right side of the road. Police say that was when he lost control, overturning the vehicle before colliding into a group of trees.

Speed and alcohol are possible factors in the crash, according to authorities.

The sole occupant of the vehicle was later transported to the hospital to be treated for injuries. The crash is currently under investigation.
