FRUITPORT TOWNSHIP, Mich. — The Cash Store in the Westshore Plaza just west of US-31 in Fruitport Township was robbed June 23, and the Fruitport Police Department hopes the public can help identify the suspect.

After robbing the store, the suspect got into a silver car that was waiting at the west end of the plaza and left with the occupant of the car.

The suspect is described as a black male in his 40s with a shaved head, wearing a surgical mask, 5’9” tall, wearing a hoodie, long jean shorts, and blue tennis shows with a white band around the sole.

The vehicle appears to be a silver Ford Taurus, model year 2000-2004. Its license plate was covered.
