MUSKEGON, Mich. — Two businesses in Muskegon will start selling recreational marijuana this week.

On Friday, Park place will open up at 10 a.m. for its first day of recreational sales. The store, located at 1922 Park St., will give commemorative shirts to the first 100 customers and have riffles to win product for a penny.

Park Place will have food and drinks available inside and will have a heated tent for those waiting outside in line. If the tent runs out of room, there is a system to allow people to wait in their cars while keeping their spot in line.

Medical patients will get to skip the lines, and there will be a purchase limit of .25 oz per day.

Bella Sol Wellness will launch recreational marijuana sales on Saturday at 1839 Peck St.

The store will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. for cash-only sales.

Bella Sol will have someone available to give free patient consultations and answer questions about products.
