Man dies in Muskegon shooting

MUSKEGON, Mich. — A Muskegon man has died from gunshot wounds to the head.

On Nov. 26 at about 11:48 p.m., police responded to the 100th block of Holbrook Avenue on a report of shots fired in the area, according to the Muskegon Police Department today.

They found a vehicle with the man inside, 25-year-old Cameron Cooper, suffering from gunshot wounds to the head.

Cooper was transported by ambulance to a nearby Mercy hospital emergency room.

Police said he has succumbed to his wounds and died.

No arrests have been made in the shooting, and police are investigating.
