FRUITPORT, Mich. — Fruitport Community Schools are closed today.
The district says it's due to power outages and severe damage from the winds to building.
Our crew found the roof blown off of Edgewood Elementary School. District officials tell us roughly a third of the building's rubber roof cover ripped off during the high winds.
So far, no damage inside the building has been found.
