CEDAR CREEK TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A man from Grant is dead after he crashed his car, and Michigan State Police believe alcohol was a factor.
Troopers responded to the crash on River Rd. near Betty Ln. around 12:40 a.m. Sunday morning.
They believe the 35-year-old driver was not able to make a turn, which caused his 2006 Jeep Commander to go off the road.
He then hit a pole, which caused the car to flip before hitting a tree.
The driver died at the scene.
