NORTON SHORES, Mich. — Everyone is safe after a house fire broke out early Wednesday.
It happened around 4:30 a.m. in the 100 block of 2nd Avenue near Mona Lake.
We're told there were five people inside at the time of the fire but everyone did make it out safely.
Right now there is no known cause and the fire remains under investigation.
Officials say there was substantial damage to the first floor.
