OVERISEL TOWNSHIP, Mich. — The driver of a small car died in a crash with a pickup Thursday at the intersection of 142nd Avenue and 40th Street in Overisel Township in northern Allegan County.
Michigan State Police described the fatality as a 64-year-old woman from Byron Center, but her identity has not been released.
The driver of the pickup suffered multiple injuries and was taken to a hospital.
MSP said the crash occurred when the woman pulled in front of the pickup, which struck her car broadside and rolled off the pavement.
Neither alcohol nor drugs are believed to have been factors.
