ALLEGAN, Mich. — Two counts of child abuse were filed Friday in a case where the victim is the younger sister of a little boy who died after being taken to the hospital.
Joshua Duane Martin, 19, faces two counts of second degree child abuse.
The victim is Rosalee Ann Blackmer, age 10 months, reports the Allegan County Sheriff’s Office in a statement.
Additional charges are possible, the sheriff’s office said.
Rosalee’s 2-year-old brother Kayden was taken to Bronson Hospital May 11, where he died of serious injuries. Investigators are awaiting autopsy results.
