KALAMAZOO, Mich. — A shooter has been arrested after firing on a 44-year-old woman on Hays Park Ave. around 1 a.m. Saturday morning.
Kalamazoo Public Safety Officers found the victim with a gunshot wound that had grazed her side.
She described the suspect's vehicle to the officers, who then sent out the information to neighboring jurisdictions.
Officers with Portage Public Safety found the vehicle soon after and detained both the driver and the passengers.
One of the passengers, a 42-year-old Kalamazoo resident, was determined to be the suspect and was arrested for a number of charges.
