KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety were called to a home on Wheaton Ave. for reports of smoke coming out of the second floor.
It happened around 12:23 a.m., after which officers made their way inside and found the fire in the attic.
They fought it for roughly a half hour, then stayed on scene for two hours.
While occupants were home at the time, no one was hurt.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
