OTSEGO, Mich. — The Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a woman accused of stealing mail and committing check fraud in two counties.
Authorities say Vanessa Mae Valkema has several felony warrants out for her arrest in Kalamazoo and Allegan counties.
Valkema is currently using the alias Essye Lynnell Hall and has a stolen ID in that name. She is believed to be in the Otsego area and could be driving a white Oldsmobile Alero.
