Suspect charged in Kzoo Co. liquor store robbery

OSHTEMO TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A man accused of robbing a Kalamazoo County liquor store was officially charged on Monday.

The robbery happened at 12:40 p.m. Thursday at Bronco Liquor, located at 5034 W KL Ave. in Oshtemo Township.

On Thursday, investigators said the store clerk shot the suspect during the robbery before he ran away from the store. The suspect was taken into custody shortly after.

Monday, Taylon Thompson was arraigned on a charge of armed robbery. Authorities didn't release any more information on the robbery.
