KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Two juveniles stole a vehicle and crashed it trying to get a way from police.
The theft happened in the 4000 block of Debbie Lane. Police found the vehicle driving east on Stadium Drive and turned around to pursue them. As the vehicle reached a red light at Stadium Drive, the driver hit the gas and tried to go through the intersection, hitting a car driving north on Howard Street.
The driver of the car on Howard street was only minorly injured and did not need to go to the hospital.
While police checked on the northbound driver, the two juveniles got out of the stolen vehicle and ran towards the 2000 block of Howard Street. Police were quickly able to flood the area and take them into custody.
