The homeowner was remotely notified by her Ring video doorbell that someone was attempting to break into her home, and officers used the video to get a description of the suspects’ vehicle.

Kalamazoo Public Safety saw a vehicle matching the description soon after near Riverview and Gull Road.

When they made contact with the three people inside the truck, officers found two stolen guns and drugs, as well as evidence connected to the home invasion.

All three people in the truck were arrested on charges related to home invasion, drugs and guns.
