KALAMAZOO, Mich. — The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety and Public Services Department has announced that due to a water main break, E Crosstown Parkway between S Park St and S Westnedge Ave is closed.
Both departments are currently on scene attempting to fix the damage.
The breakage has caused significant damage to the roadway and it is currently unsafe to drive on.
The western most lane of S Park St is also closed due to the water following into that lane of travel.
There is not a current restoration estimate due to the extent of damage to the impacted area.
The public is encouraged to avoid this area until this issue can be resolved.
