KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Police who stopped a car believing an occupant had an outstanding warrant found who they were looking for plus guns and ammunition.
Three people are now in jail instead of one.
Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety started things off by pulling over a vehicle with three people inside. One of the occupants tried to run off but was taken into custody after a brief foot chase. He was found to have a stolen firearm hidden on his ankle.
After the other two occupants were arrested, a search of the vehicle uncovered a collapsible rifle, some ammunition magazines and more ammunition.
