KALAMAZOO, Mich. — A man was shot when several suspects forced their way into his car.
Officers with the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety learned of the incident when they were dispatched around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday to a hospital on a report of a person with a gunshot wound.
The shooting occurred in the 800 block of Paterson Street near Westnedge Avenue north of downtown Kalamazoo.
The victim, 28, whose identity and gender were not released by KDPS, is in stable condition.
