KALAMAZOO TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A man was arrested Monday after Michigan State Police say they found a stolen snowmobile at his Kalamazoo County home.
Authorities followed tracks from the Comstock Township home about three miles away to another property in Kalamazoo Township. After receiving a search warrant, troopers found the stolen snowmobile covered in the back yard.
They also found several guns and ammunition inside the home. The suspect who took the snowmobile, a 41-year-old man, is a convicted felon who is prohibited from owning firearms and ammunition.
The man was arrested on charges of possession of stolen property, theft of a snowmobile and multiple weapons charges.
