Supporters of President Trump gathered for a meet-up in Portage on Wednesday.
The Trump re-election campaign hosted a "Land of Heroes" MAGA Meet-Up in Portage featuring Congressman Jack Bergman, State Senator Tom Barrett, and MIGOP Vice Chair Gerry Hildenbrand.
MAGA Meet-Ups are neighborhood-centric community events to organize volunteers and connect supporters.
The meet-up comes one day after day two of the RNC Convention, and today was mainly focused on veterans.
“President Trump has always had the backs of veterans like myself and it’s an honor to serve under his leadership,” said Sen. Barrett, (R) – 24, a veteran. “With President Trump in the White House, Michiganders can rest assured that our safest and best days are still ahead."
