KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Kalamazoo State Theatre is offering private tours of the historic venue, a news release said Thursday.
Guests will be able to learn about the theatre’s atmospheric sky, architecture, organ and pipes, lightboard, marquee, renovation history and more.
The tour goes through the dressing rooms, green room, statues, staircases, fountain and the theatre house from different viewpoints.
In the final act, guests will be able to step on stage and view the theatre as a performing artist would.
All tours come with a koozie and an exclusive, limited-edition poster.
Masks must be worn at all times.
Tours may consist of no more than four people.
There is no elevator in the theatre.
Appointments are available on Mondays and Fridays from 2-5 p.m. and on select Saturdays.
