KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Kalamazoo police responded to reports of shots fired in the area of Cobb Avenue and West North Street this afternoon.
Officers discovered a victim inside a vehicle with a sustained gunshot wound, according to Kalamazoo Public Safety.
After applying first aid to the wounded victim and conducting interviews in the area, officers learned that shots were fired by an occupant of another vehicle, according to police. They say no suspect description is available at this time.
We’re told the victim was taken to a nearby hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
