KALAMAZOO, Mich. — A 64-year-old man from Kalamazoo has died after a shooting Thursday night.

The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety says it happened just after 8 p.m. near West Main Street and Piccadilly Road in Kalamazoo.
We’re told police arrived to find a 64-year-old man from Kalamazoo, Michael Vines, with multiple gunshot sounds. KDPS says they attempted to resuscitate the man before he died of his injuries.
The incident is currently under investigation.
The shooter's name isn't being released at this time, but he's been identified as a 30-year-old man from Vandalia.
Police say preliminary information suggests that the two were aquainted and the shooting was domestic-related.
