KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Police in Kalamazoo are praising the patron of a local business who help subdue an armed gunman.
They were called to the 1,000 block of Schuster Avenue on Tuesday for reports of an armed man pointing a gun at a customer.
Authorities say another shopper quickly jumped into action and disarmed the attacker.
Police arrived and took the 45-year-old Kalamazoo man into custody without incident.
