GAINES TOWNSHIP, Mich. — The Kent County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an armed robbery at an AT&T store Wednesday.
It happened at the store located at 6680 Kalamazoo Ave. SE in Gaines Township, according to the sheriff’s office.
Two individuals described as Black men entered the store and took merchandise before fleeing in a silver Chrysler.
Kentwood Police Department officers found the vehicle and shortly pursued before stopping because of safety concerns.
No customers were in the store at the time of the robbery and no one was injured.
The investigation is ongoing.
