PORTAGE, Mich. — A road is partially closed in Portage after a crash involving a vehicle and a train.
Portage police have closed the northbound lanes of Shaver Road between Vanderbilt and Centre avenues. The intersection of Shaver Road and Melody Avenue is also closed while crews work to clear the scene.
Police didn’t specify what caused the crash or if anyone was injured.
