KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Three Kalamazoo men showed up at a hospital with gunshot wounds Sunday morning, and one of them later died there.
At 2:30 a.m. Sunday, the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety responded to a report of a shooting in the 600 block of East Michigan Avenue. Upon arriving at the scene, officers found a shooting scene at 605 E. Michigan Ave., but no victims were present.
Shortly thereafter, a gunshot victim arrived at a local hospital in a personal vehicle, followed by another vehicle arriving there with two more gunshot victims.
One of them -- a 30-year-old Kalamazoo man -- died at the hospital. The other two victims -- 28- and 29-year-old men, both from Kalamazoo -- were treated for their injuries and were listed in stable condition later Sunday.
