One person was shot just before 8 p.m. Tuesday, suffering serious injuries.
Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety tells FOX 17 the shooting was witnessed in the 1800 block of Vanzee Street. The victim was not found in the area, but had arrived at the hospital soon after. The victim is in serious condition but was able to confirm to police that he was hit by gunfire during the incident at Vanzee Street.
