KALAMAZOO, Mich. — The search is on for a driver of accused of hitting and injuring a pedestrian before leaving the scene.
It happened around 8 p.m. Wednesday near the intersection of Drake Road and Stonebrook Street in Kalamazoo, according to the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety.
The victim, an 18-year-old Kalamazoo man, was taken to a nearby hospital and is currently in stable condition.
The suspect fled the scene and has not yet been located by police.
The driver is believed to be driving a dark-colored pickup truck with possible front-end damage.
