Just days after reopening following the COVID-19 pandemic, Binder Park Zoo is temporarily closed due to storm damage and a power outage.
The zoo says Wednesday's storms caused significant damage to some of the animal exhibits and guest areas.
Luckily, no animals or staff were hurt.
The zoo is closed to the public Friday while staff begin to clean up, assess and repair damage to the park with plans to reopen Saturday.
"We hope all our zoo members, friends and fans fared well through the storm- we are thinking of you, too," the zoo said in a Facebook post.
