SPRINGFIELD, Mich. — A man was arrested on Monday for sexual assault after allegedly holding his girlfriend against her will for months.
Police say it happened at a home along W. Dickman Road in Springfield.
According to the Calhoun County Sheriff's Office, the 23-year-old woman was physically battered and suffered from sexual assaults. A 40-year-old man living in the home was also found to have been assaulted.
The 26-year-old suspect is being held in the Calhoun County jail.
