SPRINGFIELD, Mich. — A 26-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound in a mobile home park Saturday afternoon.
At 3:58 p.m. Saturday, the Calhoun County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a shooting at the Avenue A Mobile Home Park. The caller was the victim, who identified himself as a 26-year-old man.
Upon arriving at the scene, deputies found the caller inside his mobile home suffering from a single gunshot wound. The man was transported to Borgess Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo where no condition report was available Sunday.
Deputies said there was no immediate threat to the general public.
