PENNFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A three year old child is hospitalized after being run over by a car.
It happened Monday around 8 p.m. in the 11000 block of Bellevue Road in Pennfield Township, according to the Calhoun County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies say the driver told detectives he didn't know the child was behind his car when he backed up and ran the boy over.
The child was taken to a nearby hospital but is expected to survive.
