NEWTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A crash involving a Calhoun County Road Commission grader Thursday led to the death of a 60-year-old Marshall Township resident.
Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to Boyd Drive and 6 ½ Mile Road in Newton Township about 7:40 a.m., according to a news release.
They believe the man had a medical emergency.
He was found dead inside the grader.
An autopsy has been scheduled with Western Michigan University’s Medical Examiner’s Office.
The man’s name is being withheld until family has been notified.
