BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — Officials in Battle Creek are investigating a suspicious fire at an apartment complex.
The fire started around 7:31 p.m. Monday at Arbors of Battle Creek, located at 78 Rambling Ln.
When crews arrived, the found smoke in the hallway with a small fire on the floor outside a second-floor laundry room. It was quickly put out and was found to have come from a small pile of rubbish.
Nobody was hurt in the fire, but investigators consider to be suspicious.
