KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Kalamazoo Public Safety Officers responded to two different shooting victims late Friday night.

They first went to N. Burdick St., near W. Clay St., where they found "evidence of a crime" that had happened around 8:40 p.m.

Soon after, a 26-year-old Kalamazoo resident was taken to a nearby hospital, that officers believe was the victim of this shooting.

Then, around 10:20 p.m., officers arrived at W. Frank St., near N. Rose St., to find a 41-year-old Kalamazoo resident with a gun shot wound.

Officers managed to keep the victim stable before they were taken to a local hospital for further treatment.

Both victims are expected to be ok, and both yet-unidentified suspects managed to get away before officers arrived.
