KALAMAZOO, Mich. — One person is dead and another two have been hospitalized after a shooting early this morning, according to the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety.
It happened on Woodbury Ave. just north of Ada St. at around 6:30 a.m. on Saturday.
Multiple calls of shots fired drew officers to the area, where they found two victims.
Officers performed lifesaving efforts at the scene, and while one of those victims are expected to be ok, the other died just after they arrived at the hospital.
A third victim from the same shooting showed up at a nearby hospital but is also expected to make a recovery.
